Who operates the site

SpaceSanifferDo is an independent educational project. This policy does not invent a company, a street address, or a data-protection officer. Privacy inquiries use the mailbox below and on the contact page.

Information you may provide

The site has no account system and no contact form. You do not have to give a name, an email address, or a description of your files to read the guides or use the tools. If you choose to email the published address, the message will contain whatever you put in it, along with your email address and any attachments. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or copies of private files. The project does not need them to explain disk space.

Browser tools

The treemap is drawn from a dataset included with the page. The storage calculator and the file size converter read the values in the form and compute a result in the browser. That script does not send those values to a SpaceSanifferDo server, and it does not request access to your filesystem. Closing the page discards what you typed, because the tools do not write it to local storage or to a cookie.

Hosting and server logs

The pages are static files. A hosting provider that serves them commonly records technical logs, which can include IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referring address, and the browser’s user-agent string. This policy does not claim that such logs never exist. Retention, access, and any legal request handling are controlled by the host that serves the site. SpaceSanifferDo does not publish a fixed retention period it does not operate.

Cookies and similar storage

The site does not intentionally set analytics cookies or advertising cookies. The tools do not use localStorage or sessionStorage. Details of that choice are in the cookie policy. Your browser may still keep a cached copy of a page. That cache is a browser feature, not a tracking cookie set by this project.

External links

Some pages link to Microsoft documentation and to the SpaceSniffer pages on uderzo.it. Those sites are run by other parties. If you follow a link, their policies and their logs apply to the visit. SpaceSanifferDo does not control those sites and does not receive their analytics.

Selling personal information

The project does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context advertising. It also does not operate a store. Hosting logs, if the host keeps them, are infrastructure records. They are not a product this project offers for sale.

Security limitations

HTTPS protects the page in transit when the host and your browser negotiate it correctly. No website can honestly promise that a log, an inbox, or a personal computer is immune to misuse. Use a current browser, and avoid sending sensitive files to a general educational mailbox.

Children

The site is written for a general audience learning about Windows storage. It is not directed at children, and it does not ask for a child’s contact details.

Changes

If the site later adds a form or a cookie, this page will be updated and the effective date will change. The published mailbox is the address shown below.

Privacy inquiries

Email [email protected]. That mailbox is the channel SpaceSanifferDo publishes for privacy inquiries.

Send privacy questions to that mailbox. The site does not publish a separate privacy address, a phone number, or a mailing address.
